Agalychnis lemur, the Lemur Leaf Frog is a critically endangered species from Central America. The frog pictured here is descended from Costa Rican frogs and now is part of our conservation collection. We have been working with this species since the 90's and have bred and donated over 400 Lemur Leaf Frogs to various institutions for research, education and establishing captive assurance colonies. A Lemur Leaf Frog from our Panamanian collection was recently featured on the @natgeo Instagram page! #Agalychnislemur #captivebreeding #amphibianrescue #amphibianconservationprogram #amphibianconservation #Agalychnis #Phyllomedusinae
