This time last year, the Amphibian Foundation was breaking into the field of amphibian conservation as a new non-profit organization. Throughout 2017, we grew tremendously and, with your help, achieved several key accomplishments . This fall, we’re excited to announce our first fundraiser to help us continue growing and accomplishing our goals. Beginning Friday, October 13th, donate $20 or more to pre-order a unique 8.5” x 11” calendar created by the Amphibian Foundation. Calendars feature an up close and personal portrait of an extraordinary frog, salamander, or newt, and your support will directly help protect endangered amphibians and their habitats. Amanda Sargent (left) and Justyne Lobello (right) of the Georgia Reptile Society, pictured here in the Critter Lab with Mark and Anthony Mandica.  Georgia Reptile Society visited yesterday to discuss ways in which we can partner to help conserve amphibians and increase awareness of the conservation concerns surrounding reptiles and amphibians. They also came to donate graphic support in the form of Amphibian Foundation informational brochures, decals and an amazing banner for use at public outreach events. All designed and paid for by the GRS. We had a great time giving them the grand tour of the facilities and how best to use them to serve the Georgia herp community. It’s an exciting time, and we are building 2 indoor research labs for amphibians, as well as a huge outdoor breeding and assisted-metamorphosis facility. We still need help!
