Gorgeous Red-eyed Leaf Frog (Agalychnis callidryas) from the Bijagual region of Costa Rica. #RedEyes from the northern Pacific region have deep red eyes and orange stripes on their flanks. Through a collaboration with CA State U, we released about 100 of these into the tropical rotunda of the conservatory last night. With any luck we will be able to establish them in the conservatory, which has been tried and failed in the past. #freerangefrogs #captivebred #Agalychnis #Agalychniscallidryas #Phyllomedusinae #LeafFrog #TreeFrog
