Amphibian Conservation Program, Initiative 2 - Head-Starting imperiled Gopher Frogs (Lithobates capito) This is the breeze way in between the Orchid House and the High Elevation House in the Fuqua Orchid Center. It is also where we head-start Gopher Frogs. We can rear up to 1,200 tadpoles in these tubs each year for release in protected habitat in South Georgia. #HeadStart #Lithobatescapito #Lithobates #GopherFrog #EndangeredSpecies
