In the #frogPOD ... Panama's Slope-snouted Glass Frog, Cochranella euknemos. Glass Frogs in the family #Centrolenidae are a fascinating group of amphibians. Generally speaking, their dorsal coloration varies from shades of green, yellow, and jade blue (like the frog pictured here) but their ventral surfaces are nearly transparent, allowing light to pass through the frog. This may aid in #camouflage as Glass Frogs are #nocturnal and sleep exposed on leaves throughout the day. #GlassFrog #Cochranellaeuknemos #Cochranella #FrogsofPanama #frogsofinstagram
