The Gopher Frog, Lithobates capito. This ephemeral wetland breeding species is Georgia's rarest frog, known only from a handful of wetlands in the state. You might think with a name like Gopher Frog, that they would be adept diggers. You would be mistaken. Lazy Gopher Frogs use burrows dug by other species like Gopher Tortoise, Pocket Gophers, tree stumps and the like. Still #AmphibiousAF
