My favorite part about yesterday's field work in South Georgia — Watching state herpetologist John Jensen handing my little boy his first ever Barking Tree Frog. — and it was a glorious frog (and day) The mission of the trip was to collect suitable coastal plain aquatic and semi-aquatic plants for the mesocosms back at the Foundation. These plants will provide suitable nesting sites for Flatwoods Salamanders. That's #AmphibiousAF
