Gopher Frog, Lithobates capito One of the residents of the Field Research Center. This frog and many others are now permanently outdoors 'in pseudo situ' in our arrays of tri-phasic mesocosms. That's a mouthful, but our outdoor lab is basically 20 artificial wetlands habitats (consisting of wetland, upland and ecotone) — not to mention hundreds of imperiled temperate amphibians, like these #CuteAF Gopher Frogs. #GopherFrog #GopherFrogs
